Halloween Fun

These are the 2 pumpkins that I did. Woodstock I decided would be a lot easier to paint and snoopy was the one that I cut out.

Snoopy with the flash on.

Snoopy with the flash off.
Isaac's first Halloween he was a football, his 2nd Halloween he was a skunk so I had to keep up the creative ideas and came up with the idea of him being a backpack.

Friday was the parade at SkyWest where we took Isaac trick-or-treating to different cubicles.

Saturday we went to our ward trunk-or-treat and then afterward we went trick-or-treating with our friends ALL around St. George.
Isaac all tuckered out after a long day of trick-or-treating

Isaac did it.

There I was sitting on the couch minding my own business when whack, I got hit in the head with a train track. No, I did not punish Isaac for throwing it. I was to mad and in pain that I had to go and put myself in time out before I did anything stupid.
Less than a week later, I had the ironing board leaning against the wall by the door when Isaac shoved the door open and knocked the ironing board down and it hit my leg.
He is still just too cute and so hard to get mad at sometimes.

Yummy?

This was a peach pie that I made out of some of the peaches that Brittnae and I picked from the church orchard that they have here. It looked really good...
but if only things tasted as good as they looked. It didn't turn out the way I was hoping it would. Oh well.

2 Years

So I am a little really slow and am now just getting pictures up from Isaac's little birthday party but hey, I am at least getting them up. So we celebrated Isaac's 2nd birthday with our neighbors and a couple of other friends. Nothing really fancy.
Isaac's cake that I made for him. The letters were made from candy melts and not the easiest thing in the world to do.

All of the kids had fun hitting the unbreakable pinata.

We took the screen out of our window and Jeff hung the pinata from our broom.

The 3 Musketeers. Everett, Isaac, and Adric eating there suckers.

This pinata would not break. So we just ended up dumping the candy onto the ground.

Isaac loves this track that our friends Matt, Chenoa and Everett gave to him for his birthday.

Family Fun

July 30th we went up north because on August 1, Jeff's brothers were blessing their newest members of their families. Jeff left back to St. George that day to go back to work and Isaac and I stayed with my parents for 2 weeks.

Here is a picture of Mia who really is just so adorable.

Isaac found a blue marker that must have tasted yummy but only he knows.

I had my very first canning experience and I got bottle raspberries. Oh and they tasted so so good.

I have always enjoyed going to 1st dam and throwing bread to the ducks so we decided for family home evening to go and do that.

My dad is helping a young man with his eagle scout project so they had been gathering rocks and my dad decided to give Isaac a ride in the wheelbarrow.

Wednesday, August 11, we left for Island Park and when we got to Rexburg we stopped by my Grandparents home. My Grandpa has a lot of little toys that you wind up that he always pulls out for the kids.

Katy, Tyler, Isaac, my dad and I went on a little boating adventure and Isaac loved it. My dad showed us all around and I never realized how big Island park really was. It was so pretty and I would live there all summer if I could.

We fished for a little while though I think all the fish swam away to some other world because I had been fishing 3 different times that day and not a thing!

Isaac LOVED throwing rocks off the dock into the water. He could have done that all day if we had let him.

Going for a walk to see all of the many cabins.

I loved waking up and looking out the window to see this every morning. It was so pretty.

We came home Sunday afternoon and headed to Sam's scout thing.

Jeff flew up Monday afternoon and we flew back to St. George together. I hate flying but it was good not having to deal with 6 hours in the car. Isaac was great on the flight which made it a little nicer for me but I don't think I will ever get used to flying.

4th of July

We decided to go up north for the 4th of July weekend for a couple of reasons. 1- We had a funeral to go to and 2- It was the 4th of July weekend. Isaac found a buddy there also named Isaac and they seemed to like each other pretty well. That was Friday, Saturday we went to a parade and hung out at Jeff's brothers house and Sunday we headed home back to the heat.

Isaac and Isaac had fun throwing grass at each other. It was pretty funny.

This was at the parade and this a Down Syndrome kid doing karate. It was pretty fun watching him go by. He was really into it.

These are just 3 of the many places that had fireworks going on.

Since we didn't see any fireworks over the weekend we headed over to Hurricane and watched there's on Monday. I think we will be going over there every year now. We don't have to worry about lighting our own fireworks because everyone else is doing there's and there firework show was awesome.

Sand Hallow

One very hot day we decided to go to Sand Hallow. We had gone there a couple of weeks ago and Isaac absolutely hated it. I love the water so for me to not be able to go and play in the water without having a screaming boy was very disappointing. After that I was determined to get Isaac to like the water. I don't know what his deal was a couple of weeks ago but this time we went he seemed to have no problem. Well, there still was a little hesitation but he would actually let me leave his side. So here are some pictures from that little trip.

And can I just add that it is really nice to have a few lakes and reservoirs ruffly 20 minutes away!

California

Our friends Cody and Robyn and there family were doing to Disneyland in June so we decided that we would go and surprise Cody. While we were up north a few weeks before we asked my sister Roz if she would like to join us. So we figured things out and she got to come for a few days. We drove up Thursday and Friday we went to the beach and to Disneyland. Saturday was all day at Disney. We surprised Cody Saturday afternoon and took Roz on some of our favorite rides. Sunday morning we took Roz to the airport and in the afternoon we went to the Medieval Times Show and spent more time in Disney. We had a fabulous time while we were there and headed home Tuesday afternoon.
Here are some pictures from our little vacation.

This was at Newport Beach.

We got a picture with Buz so we had to get a picture with Woody.
