Las Vegas to Celebrate

To celebrate our 3rd anniversary we drove down to Las Vegas for the weekend. We had Jeff's cousins watch Isaac which was very much appreciated. Here are some pictures from our little getaway.

We wanted to go on gondola ride which was very fun.

The dolphins were very fun to watch. At one point one of the dolphins would come down and just look at us. It was very neat.

These tigers were very active. There was a lady in a wheel chair and she had a service dog and these tigers were going crazy. She was asked to leave because the tigers were getting so worked up.

We were walking through a mall in Las Vegas and came upon this ride and Jeff just had to have a picture.

Cuteness

I left our room for a minute and came back and found Isaac laying on his tummy watching a movie on my ipod.

Fun Little Moments

Isaac and Everett eating some popsicles just being cute little boys.

One of our neighbors kids celebrating her 3rd birthday.

Jeff and I got tired of getting light headed from blowing so many bubbles so we decided it was time to buy a bubble machine. I think he got a little overwhelmed from all of the bubbles.

Ward Block Party

Our ward and a couple of others got together and had a block party (literally). They blocked off a road and had different activities and a dinner. They had a dunking machine, a slide a little carousel swing, and this little train.
Those barrels are not so comfortable and I swear it lasted for 10 minutes but Isaac loved the ride so I guess that is what matters.

Isaac enjoyed it until he went with his dad. Then all he wanted was out. Luckily that ride only lasted a couple of minutes.

The Great Race/Carnival

So every year Dixie has an event called the Great Race. It is a course with different stations and obstacles which teams try to race through and win. After the Great Race they have a carnival where you can get snow cones, cotton candy, hot dogs, hamburgers and different things of that sort. Isaac and I went on this big slide it was fun but I don't think Isaac quite thought the same thing.

Here is a close up picture of the picture above.
I love Isaac's face. Good photo taking Jeff.

There was a man in a bright green suit making balloon figures so we thought we would get Isaac one. It a tiger. He would not let go of that stick until we made him once we got home for him to take his bath.

This is what I got from the carnival. A BIG FAT lip. You are all so jealous of me I know. No I did not get punch in the mouth though sometimes it sure felt like it. This is what happens to me when I forget to wear chapstick with sunscreen in it.

Easter

Isaac didn't quite understand the concept of gathering all the eggs he could find. But he did know there was candy inside.

We told Lexie that we would take her out to ice cream since we missed her Baptism and thought we would take to SkyWest first for there Easter Egg hunt they have there. We got there 5 minutes late and all of the eggs were gone so we had our own little Easter egg hunt. It was fun.

This year I thought I would do something a little different than using regular eggs. So i made rice krispie treats and shaped them like eggs. Took some melting candy and decorated them. They were yummy and fun to make. If anyone would like to do this idea. I used a Big plastic easter egg. Sprayed it with cooking oil then smashed the egg with the rice krispies inside.

This was fun. Jeff had no idea about this until Easter Sunday when he found it after playing hot and cold. So I found this backpack in the mall and thought what a perfect gift this would be for Jeff. I had it upstairs hiding in our closet until Easter Sunday came around. The only problem I had was when it came time to hide it. I couldn't because Jeff was downstairs in the front room and the backpack was upstairs. Then I remembered that Isaac didn't have a screen in his window and ended up lowering it using yarn. I went downstairs grabbed Isaac's easter basket went outside and sort of hid his basket. Went to the back and grabbed Jeff's backpack and hid it in the bush up front.

Florida

Jeff''s brother Carson got married in Florida so we were able to take a week off and enjoy some of that time in Disneyworld. Here are some pictures from that wonderfully fun week.

Mickey Mouse made in flowers.

Jeff and Isaac and the Castle behind them at Magic Kingdom.

Epcot and behind us is the giant golf ball. Who knew there was a ride inside that thing. It was pretty cool.

Some of the animals we saw at Animal Kingdom.
Giraffe

White Rhinos

Big Gorilla

This tree was way neat.

All sorts of animals carved into it.

Jeff could tell you what ride is behind us but I'm not sure.

The Big Day
March 20, 2010 was a very busy day. In the morning we had to go to the Orlando Temple where Carson and Heidi got sealed for time and all eternity. After that head to Cocoa Beach where pictures were taken and the reception was held and all the many fun things that go with a wedding.
Isaac and Even hitting heads. Not sure why.

Little worn out Isaac. This was at Carson and Heidi's reception.

Carson and Heidi exchanging rings.

Little Bryce playing in the sand during the ring exchange.

Spending the last day at Cocoa beach collecting seashells.

All in all we had a fantastic time in Florida and really hope to be able to go back sometime in the future. (And hopefully spend a little more time on the beach)
