July 30th we went up north because on August 1, Jeff's brothers were blessing their newest members of their families. Jeff left back to St. George that day to go back to work and Isaac and I stayed with my parents for 2 weeks.
I had my very first canning experience and I got bottle raspberries. Oh and they tasted so so good.
I have always enjoyed going to 1st dam and throwing bread to the ducks so we decided for family home evening to go and do that.
My dad is helping a young man with his eagle scout project so they had been gathering rocks and my dad decided to give Isaac a ride in the wheelbarrow.
Wednesday, August 11, we left for Island Park and when we got to Rexburg we stopped by my Grandparents home. My Grandpa has a lot of little toys that you wind up that he always pulls out for the kids.
Katy, Tyler, Isaac, my dad and I went on a little boating adventure and Isaac loved it. My dad showed us all around and I never realized how big Island park really was. It was so pretty and I would live there all summer if I could.
We fished for a little while though I think all the fish swam away to some other world because I had been fishing 3 different times that day and not a thing!
Isaac LOVED throwing rocks off the dock into the water. He could have done that all day if we had let him.
I loved waking up and looking out the window to see this every morning. It was so pretty.
We came home Sunday afternoon and headed to Sam's scout thing.
Jeff flew up Monday afternoon and we flew back to St. George together. I hate flying but it was good not having to deal with 6 hours in the car. Isaac was great on the flight which made it a little nicer for me but I don't think I will ever get used to flying.
