The Great Race/Carnival

So every year Dixie has an event called the Great Race. It is a course with different stations and obstacles which teams try to race through and win. After the Great Race they have a carnival where you can get snow cones, cotton candy, hot dogs, hamburgers and different things of that sort. Isaac and I went on this big slide it was fun but I don't think Isaac quite thought the same thing.

Here is a close up picture of the picture above.
I love Isaac's face. Good photo taking Jeff.

There was a man in a bright green suit making balloon figures so we thought we would get Isaac one. It a tiger. He would not let go of that stick until we made him once we got home for him to take his bath.

This is what I got from the carnival. A BIG FAT lip. You are all so jealous of me I know. No I did not get punch in the mouth though sometimes it sure felt like it. This is what happens to me when I forget to wear chapstick with sunscreen in it.

Easter

Isaac didn't quite understand the concept of gathering all the eggs he could find. But he did know there was candy inside.

We told Lexie that we would take her out to ice cream since we missed her Baptism and thought we would take to SkyWest first for there Easter Egg hunt they have there. We got there 5 minutes late and all of the eggs were gone so we had our own little Easter egg hunt. It was fun.

This year I thought I would do something a little different than using regular eggs. So i made rice krispie treats and shaped them like eggs. Took some melting candy and decorated them. They were yummy and fun to make. If anyone would like to do this idea. I used a Big plastic easter egg. Sprayed it with cooking oil then smashed the egg with the rice krispies inside.

This was fun. Jeff had no idea about this until Easter Sunday when he found it after playing hot and cold. So I found this backpack in the mall and thought what a perfect gift this would be for Jeff. I had it upstairs hiding in our closet until Easter Sunday came around. The only problem I had was when it came time to hide it. I couldn't because Jeff was downstairs in the front room and the backpack was upstairs. Then I remembered that Isaac didn't have a screen in his window and ended up lowering it using yarn. I went downstairs grabbed Isaac's easter basket went outside and sort of hid his basket. Went to the back and grabbed Jeff's backpack and hid it in the bush up front.
